Mindset is a way of thinking. A set of thoughts that work together to influence the life and business I create. With thoughts based in low self esteem and little value for my time and talents, I could gain information, understand how things work online, implement good marketing strategies, and bring in minimal profits ☹I chased new strategies, studied successful marketers, aimed to duplicate their results and while I gained a little more in profit here and there– it never felt authentic.I hated mindset talk, deeming it woo-woo nonsense. I considered it silly fluff people leaned on when they didn’t know how to actually get something done.I achieved some success as a content marketer from pure determination and consistency. My internet radio show turned podcast was the first and best known in my niche. It built a community of people interested in building an online business and that brought multiple profit opportunities. Ten years in, I’d build a reliable multi-stream income but never broke through the six-figure mark. When I had conversations with other marketers, they expressed surprise about my numbers. While I was proud of income that far out-earned anything I ever made in a day job – they compared me to others with less experience who made more. It was frustrating because I didn’t know why that was happening either. I felt limited, but could never put my finger on the reason.Thankfully, there came a time when my obstinance about mindset conversations crumbled. When my mindset changed, my level of success and profitability did too! This little book is going to invite you to change how you think about Content Marketing.
